March CWiB Meeting Highlights
May CWiB Meeting Highlights
APRIL HIGHLIGHTS
Our meeting was held April 12 at The Giddy Up in Folsom. Our breakfast was graciously sponsored by Polished to Perfection Cleaning Services.
The guest speaker was Ethan Gottschalck with Family Heritage. Ethan described one of the pitfalls of owning your own business and being self-employed is what happens when you are sick or injured and cannot work for a period of time? The supplemental insurance products available can help offset some of the costs incurred in these situations. Specifically, policies are available for Injury (accidental injuries and death), Cancer, and Cardiac events (heart attacks, heart disease, and stroke). The policies he represents are affordable for small businesses and a benefit when these situations arise and they pay amounts directly to the insured. For more information about these products, contact Ethan 985-400-8520.
The breakfast sponsor was Polished to Perfection Cleaning Services. Thank you!
We welcomed several new businesses to the group, including: Aunt B’s Naturals; Kara Hammond with Mary Kay; Nurturing Your Life; Rosie Book, LLC; Team Title; and Realty One Group.
MAY SPEAKER: TBA! We are looking for speakers and breakfast sponsors for our May meeting.
May 2023 will also mark the one year anniversary of our Folsom Community Women in Business group. We are excited to celebrate this milestone and are looking forward to planning something a little special for the May meeting.
