MARCH HIGHLIGHTS
Our meeting was held March 8 at The Giddy Up in Folsom. Our breakfast was graciously sponsored by J. Morgan Mitchell and New York Insurance Services.
The guest speaker was Jennifer Goings from Magnolia Park in Folsom. Jennifer described the facility available at Magnolia Park and emphasized that it much more than a sports complex. In addition to the sports facilities, the Council on Aging uses it as a Senior Center, there are a series of classes offered for adults and youth, and the facility is available for rent for your events. They will be developing a community garden - the second in St. Tammany Parish - and might possibly be selling produce. Stay tuned for information!
APRIL SPEAKER: Ethan Gottschalck with Family Heritage. He will speak on supplemental health insurance for small businesses.
