MAY HIGHLIGHTS
The networking breakfast was provided compliments of the Kiwanis Clubs of Covington and Mandeville. Guest speaker Clay Drewes, Kiwanis Lt. Governor, presented an overview of the Kiwanis' mission: Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a time. Mr. Drewes shared how a Kiwanis presence could impact the Folsom area through positive engagement, mentorship, leadership development, and community service thanks to programs such as K-Kids, Terrific Kids, Bringing Up Grades, Builder's Club, and Key Club. Participants expressed gratitude and a welcoming spirit for bringing this initiative to Folsom. Anyone interested in participating in the newly formed Kiwanis Club of Folsom is asked to contact Mr. Drewes at 985-246-9560.
