The networking breakfast featured Erica and Mary, representatives from Grace Funeral Home, and focused on the importance of pre-planning your end of life wishes. Making plans ahead of time saves your family and loved ones the stress of guessing what you might want done with your remains. Pre-paying also saves money as your options are paid for ahead of time and your family does not need to worry about coming up with the money to fund your funeral expenses. The average cost of a funeral today is around $10,000 and few people have that amount of money readily available. Life insurance typically does not pay directly to the funeral homes, so the costs must be paid for before life insurance reimbursement happens. Various plans and options are available. The breakfast was also generously supplied by Grace Funeral Home.
